The very first scene is Jason, Annebeth and Hazel climbing a mountain so that they can attend a ghost slumber party gone wrong, and gather information for the safest route to take.
They embark on the most adventurous and deathly quest of all, because the World is at stake. They have to face threats as dangerous as always as each and every one of the routes are heavily guarded by Gaia's minions. How do they plan to overcome these dangers? How do they plan on surviving? What has our sweet, vengeful mother earth planned for them? Most important of all, how do they stop Gaia from destroying every civilization ever created on earth? Even the gods?
